- Law enforcement officers and members of the public on Wednesday paid their respects to a grieving family and said goodbye to a fallen Philadelphia police officer, 31-year-old Jaime Roman. A funeral service will take place later today at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Center City.
- Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker says she’s about to greenlight a downtown arena for the 76ers, over the protest of residents in nearby Chinatown. A few hundred people gathered outside City Hall after the announcement, vowing to take their fight to City Council.
Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small and his wife, La’Quetta, have been indicted for allegedly beating their teenage daughter.
- As city leaders gathered Wednesday to tout the economic impact of Philadelphia International Airport on the region, an annual survey released on the same day ranked the airport dead last in customer satisfaction — again.
