You are married. One day you decided to step outside of your marriage and have an affair. The girl that you have an affair with gets pregnant and has the child. You have to tell your wife about the affair and now the child. Shortly after the side-piece has the child she dies and you take custody of the kid. So your spouse forgives you for the affair but is refusing to be involved with the child as a mother. She is basically going to treat the child like it's a guest. You love your wife but your wife is not accepting the child.
