U.S. Gold Corp CEO George Bee speaks with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company’s latest milestone. Bee confirmed that U.S. Gold Corp's Gold King Corp. subsidiary has received final permit approval from Air Quality Division of the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality for the CK Gold Project. He described this as a major step forward for the shovel-ready project, emphasizing its unique position in a stable jurisdiction. Bee highlighted the favorable market conditions, with gold prices exceeding $2,600 per ounce, significantly enhancing the project’s economics. "Since we last published numbers in 2021, gold and copper prices have increased, ensuring we preserve a healthy margin," Bee said. The company is progressing with an updated pre-feasibility study (PFS), which integrates cutting-edge technologies like Glencore’s Jameson Cells and optimized tailings management plans. The PFS is expected to be followed by a final feasibility study in the first half of next year. Bee expressed optimism about CK Gold becoming Wyoming's first producing copper and gold mine in decades, which he said would diversify the state’s resource portfolio.
