One of your jobs as a parent is to teach your kid manners. Carol says she’s seen Dr. Becky saying we should not teach kids to say thank you, because it is not genuine. Instead, teach them to feel gratitude which in turn will cause them to WANT to be thankful. Carol disagrees, and says that whether or not you feel grateful, a thank you goes a long way.
