(00:00-24:05) – Query & Company opens on a Wednesday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison congratulating Mike Chappell on having the Colts Media Room named the Mike Chappell Media Room. Additionally, they preview tonight’s season opener for the Indiana Pacers against the Detroit Pistons. Finally, they highlight how important Bennedict Mathurin’s growth this season will impact the team’s success.

(24:05-33:55) – With Shane Steichen announcing that Jonathan Taylor and DeForest Buckner would be returning to the practice field today, Jake and Jimmy assess the impact those two will have this week. Also, they examine the upcoming schedule for the Colts following this week’s game against the Texans.

(33:55-40:58) – Hour number one concludes with Jake explaining the significance that former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Fernando Valenzuela’s had during his career with him passing away yesterday.

(40:58-1:03:38) – The IndyStar’s Dustin Dopirak joins Query & Company to highlight which player most interests him going into the season, identifies who the immediate backup five are for the Pacers with the season starting tonight, points out some comments that have been made about Bennedict Mathurin with him set to return tonight after missing the last couple months of their previous season, and would not be surprised if the Pacers average a point or two less this season just because it is hard to replicate that type of efficiency.

(1:03:38-1:13:44) – Following their conversation with Dustin Dopirak, Jake and Jimmy shift their conversation back to the Indianapolis Colts. They continue to highlight the importance of this game for Indianapolis when you look at where they would sit in the AFC South with a loss.

(1:13:44-1:22:13) – Hour number two concludes with Jake going on a rant about how some people treat high school basketball recruits when they don’t commit to the in-state school that that person was hoping for.

(1:22:13-1:45:18) – Casey Vallier, Colts radio network in-game studio host and radio coordinator, joins Jake Query & Jimmy Cook from the Colts complex to examine how likely it is that DeForest Buckner or Jonathan Taylor return this week, assesses whether the Colts will run Anthony Richardson like they did on Sunday if/when Taylor returns, and does agree with Jake that the Colts need to expand the passing game with Richardson as he continues to get more reps.

(1:45:18-1:55:33) – At the end of last segment, Jake posed a question for Jimmy, Eddie, and intern Cash about Halloween because he is curious how it has changed over time.

(1:55:33-2:03:09) – Today’s show ends with the JCook Plays of the Day and Eddie sharing a couple bets he likes!
