Philipp nu-şi găseşte în continuare liniştea. După sâcâietoarele insecte, acum îl deranjează zgomotul vecinilor. Un telefon neaşteptat din Berlin provoacă plecarea sa precipitată. Philipp se îndreaptă spre Radio D. Philipp nu are la ţară noroc să se odihnească. Un fierăstrău mecanic şi un trompetist ageamiu îi răpesc ultima fărâmă de bună-dispoziţie. Telefonul primit de la Paula, care lucrează la Radio D în Berlin, pică tocmai bine. Spre nemulţumirea mamei sale, Philipp pleacă val-vârtej spre capitală. Şi aici se poate înţelege cu ajutorul câtorva cuvinte ce se întâmplă. Cuvintele internaţionale şi melodia frazei ajută mai ales la desluşirea celor întâmplate şi exersează percepţia auditivă.
