Radioveteranen Gösta Wicklander arbetade 44 år på Televerket i Karlstad. På televerket fanns radiostudion i Karlstad och från 1941 fanns också ett sk ombud för Radiotjänst i Värmland, den förste var seminarielektorn Per Stolpe. Från tidigare inspelningar från SR:s arkiv hör vi även en annan radiopionjär, Petrus Jackobsson från Säffle, som intervjuas av Paul Björk och Solveig Stjärne Brattström som intervjuar landshövding Gustav Nilsson när han tillträdde som hövding år 1957.
