Today we are talking to Lynette Diaz, who currently serves as the Director of Economic Empowerment for Thrive Virginia. Lynette is a community leader with 13 years of experience working with youth and families in both public and nonprofit environments, including a strong commitment to community action. She received her Master's Degree in Public Administration from Old Dominion University and has focused her studies on the issues related to poverty and family well-being.
Lynette is a certified Bridges Out of Poverty trainer who values and promotes cross-collaborative efforts that include both the lived experience and the professional knowledge of community residents and stakeholders.
