Life is full of widely accepted stories that are so far from the truth. Sometimes we’d rather accept these stories than face a painful reality. But what if we were brave? What if we chose to take a good long look at our own stories and beliefs and question whether or not these were truths in our lives or just made up stories we heard along the way?
Ivoree Ameperosa is an extraordinary local that is on a fierce mission to confront these stigmas, specifically in the cannabis industry. She focuses on the collaboration, support, and community building for women of color owned businesses and hopes to share the incredible benefits of this demonized plant and the booming business that is building around it. She shares about some of her more painful truths and how cannabis has allowed her to find peace, acceptance, and friendship and how she hopes to be able to continue to spread her love and knowledge to our community of San Diego.
