It’s been almost a year since Covid began, and we are all feeling exhausted. In fact, 33% more of us reported feelings of burnout and fatigue in the last year. In this episode of the Wellness 360 podcast, Dr. Shivani talks with Dr. Amy Shah about her new book: I'm So Effing Tired: A Proven Plan to Beat Burnout, Boost Your Energy and Reclaim Your Life. This book is all about reclaiming energy, and it’s not a crash diet or crazy exercise plan. At its root, it’s all about the sun.

Circadian fasting is about revolving your day around sun cycles. The three basic tenets are: 1) Get direct sunlight on your body in the morning, 2) Stop eating 2-3 hours before bed, and 3) Avoid blue light 2-3 hours before bed. It’s like the more popular intermittent fasting, but better - you can still eat three meals a day, and the focus is on aligning your body with the world around you.

Dr. Amy Shah shares a wealth of information about getting your energy back, and all her steps are simple, easy to implement, and focused on the natural cadence of our bodies.
