Design for acoustics and acoustic separation comes down to two main areas – airborne noise, and impact noise.

While airborne noise and its best management strategies were expertly explained by Rob Jones from Autex way back in Episode No. 9, until now there has been relatively little discussion of impact noise, and how we can design it out of projects.

With this in mind, Laurence and Joe were thrilled to be joined by Evan Hong from Embelton, a leading manufacturer of vibration isolation mounts. As a senior engineer, Evan has a wealth of experience in designing for vibration isolation under pools, gyms, around plant, and in many of the circumstances.
