Meet Scott, one of our dedicated mentors. Scott suddenly began experiencing sensations of movement and unsteadiness amid family stress. His symptoms quickly worsened, making walking and standing difficult. He dealt with constant bobbing, strange sensations in his body, and sensitivity to light, sound, and screens, making each day a challenge.
Scott went through the usual doctor visits with little help, until he was finally diagnosed with PPPD and found his way here. In this video, Scott shares what helped him most during his recovery and how things that once felt like “woo woo” eventually made a lot of sense. Discover how this knowledge and these behavioral changes supported him through a later cancer diagnosis and how they shape his life today.
