Hey, y'all, we back. This week on the podcast, Sarah Beth and I sit down and talk about the 2005 film The Descent. We go over the layout of the film and what makes it unique. We discuss the various themes involved with the film, which include isolation & claustrophobia, survival instinct, betrayal, and female empowerment.
The Descent is a 2005 British horror film about six women who explore an uncharted cave system and encounter terrifying cannibalistic humanoid creatures. The chaos ensues as the group becomes trapped, leading to an intense struggle for survival and internal conflict.
