A people pleaser is sort of like a doormat— people use them to clean their dirty feet! Pleasing people, taking the path of least resistance, stems from fear. Fear of what people will say or their perception of you if confronted. We were not made to be doormats- neglecting ourselves to meet other folks needs.. Making decisions based on other folks approval.
