Notes:

Depending on motivation to get us unstuck will disappoint every time.

Motivation is external which means it’s both fickle and fading.

Inspiration is more than a what – it’s a who do we want to become.

Genuine change comes from internal inspiration not external motivation.

All of us have a dysfunctional loop in some area of our lives.

Uncomfortable Feeling – Irrational thought – Unhealthy action – Painful consequence – Uncomfortable Feeling

Jesus is the different we need to get unstuck from our dysfunctional loops.

Where do we find the inspiration that frees us from dysfunctional loops?

When Jesus came to that place, he looked up and said to Zacchaeus, “Hurry down, Zacchaeus, because I must stay in your house today.” Zacchaeus hurried down and welcomed him with great joy.
- Luke 19:5-6

All the people saw this and began to mutter, “He has gone to be the guest of a sinner.” Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.”

Jesus’s grace inspired genuine life change!

Do not let all kinds of strange teachings lead you from the right way. It is good to receive inner strength from God's grace, and not by obeying rules about foods…
