The War and Treaty’s Michael and Tanya Trotter grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and Washington, DC, respectively, but both have family roots in the South. They also grew up in the musical traditions of their churches – Tanya in the Black Baptist Church and Michael in the Seventh Day Adventist Church – where they learned the power of song to move people. After becoming a father at a very young age, Michael eventually joined the armed forces and served in Iraq and Germany, where he took up songwriting as a way of dealing with his experiences there. Meanwhile Tanya embarked on a singing and acting career after a breakthrough appearance in Sister Act 2 alongside Whoopi Goldberg and Lauryn Hill. Now, after a long and sometimes traumatic journey, Michael and Tanya are married, touring, winning all sorts of awards, and set to release their fifth album together, and their fourth as The War and Treaty. Byron LOVE Luv is actually a Dallas underground legend formerly known as "DTR - Down To Rock" with history dating back to 1982, prior to D.O.C. leaving the Fila Fresh Crew. He was an undefeated battle-rapper who went on to release two albums in 1989 (Dope Straight From The SouthSide) and 1990 (SouthSide Dopeness). The "buzz" was on as he performed with D.J. Earthquake (Floyd) , J-Blade (Johnny Nutson) and Vanilla Ice while recording with Goldfinger (Dale Lane of "Sheek Fool" fame) and Quint Black (Q. Banks of "Shake Dem Haters Off" fame). He was on the way. The streets took a hold of him and he went to prison in 1991. He returned in 1999. The success propelled the station beyond a million listeners/followers. He then transitioned into video and film. As an inexperienced film-maker he created a movie called "7-5-2-1-5". I am a native of Bloomington, IN(GO HOOSIERS!) Since the age of 11, I have been performing professionally as an Actor, Model and Singer. While attending Indiana University, I also fell in love with Hosting, Make-up Artistry, Producing and Directing. Currently, I reside in Los Angeles CA with my wonderful Husband, Lance Larry. I am so excited to get my music out into the world! This will be my very first project of originals, entitled "MOODZ". Writing, arranging and recording my own project is something I have always wanted to do, but honestly, I let procrastination, fear, doubt and insecurities get in the way of doing something I love. In 2017, I was diagnosed with aggressive Stage 3 Breast Cancer. I underwent a year of Chemotherapy and radiation, as well as surgery. While going through treatments was rough, I never let Cancer break down my spirit the way it was breaking down my body. It was my mission to stay positive, faithful and to spread love and laughter to anyone that might be going through a hard time. Having God, Music and the Arts in my life changed the way I handled my cancer journey. I truly believe a mixture of all those things, were instrumental in my healing. During my Cancer journey, I promised God that if he healed me, I would push past my fears and use the gifts that he blessed me with. I am just his vessel and strive daily to live a life that will make him happy, and make my parents proud. We were all created to be a light in this world that is so full of darkness. I am here to encourage you to not be afraid to step out on Faith, and do the things that you have always dreamed of. Life is short, and you owe it to yourself and the Creator to live life to the fullest! I am very excited, and grateful that you have come by to check out my new project! Dekarian “Killa D” Ashley was Born in Shreveport, La. (raised in Minden, La) He began his musical aspirations at 12 Years old, with only a Karaoke Machine and a microphone. S. Deniro is an up and coming artist from the Bronx. Growing up in the 90’s, S. Deniro has looked up to some well-known heavy hitters in the music industry, like The Lox, Fabolous and Jay Z. As a young boy growing up in the Bronx, he always knew he served a purpose in music but also had a love for basketball. Watching his favorite basketball player, Allen Iverson, was a big influence on him during his years in high school. There, he tried to pursue a career in basketball following in his favorite player’s footsteps, but still felt that something was missing. Basketball just wasn’t his passion the way music was. By the time he was 17, his love for Hip Hop was undeniable and S. Deniro then continued to follow his dream in making music. At the age of 18 he developed his craft, writing about the street life, his struggles coming up, and hard times he faced growing up on the streets of the Bronx. Eager to show and prove that he has what it takes to be a great artist, he made his way to Wise Guy studios in 2009. There, he recorded his first three mix tapes: No Beat is safe[2010], No Beat is safe vol.2[2011] and No Beat is safe vol.3.[2013] During the process of creating his first three projects, he met with a beat producer, who actually produced one song off of both Vol. 2 and 3, then went on to collaborate with him and create his first EP, “Talk of NY” The Prequel[2016].
