Johnnie Putman and Steve King kick off June with the perfect summer show! All you really need is fantastic food and magnificent music! If the sound of overpriced turkey legs and things that should not be pickled doesn’t whet your appetite, out first guest might.

We start off by saying hi to WGN-TV meteorologist Mike Janssen to talk about the quintessential summer food: corn! Shockingly, we even throw in a bit of weather talk after a dreadfully drenched drive into the studio.

Our main event for the show comes in the form of none other than (half of) The Empty Pockets! Josh Solomon and Erika Brett stop by to fill your pockets with more upcoming tour dates, a few summer surprises and they serenade us with some superb songs. We even get to learn a thing or two about the origins of how these lovebirds came to be! Listen in and you might catch a dose of “Beatle-mania”!

This time we’re taking a very serious look at the massive Ticketmaster data breach in which over 500 million user accounts are hacked.
