Erectile dysfunction has been a concern for men since the beginning of written history. For many men it can lead to severe psychological distress and humiliation. The treatment of erectile dysfunction has advanced significantly over the past 200 years. So before the internet LOL!
On March 27th 1998, when the Internet was starting to become a force to be reckoned with commercially, a medically miracle became available to men who had problems….uh hem…down there. And when I say down there, I mean erectile dysfunction or impotency as it was known in older times.
Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a term we hear frequently nowadays. On television, on the radio, in magazines, and on the internet, we are bombarded with advice on how to deal with ED, advertisements for medications to treat it, and articles for partners of the men who have it. With this apparently sudden explosion in interest, you’d be forgiven for thinking that ED was a 20th century invention.
In this episode, we will look at how it was treated well before the "little blue pill" was discovered. Enjoy!
