Edgar Cayce The Sleeping Prophet was known for putting himself in a sleeplike trance to access the universal consciousness and gave readings, made predictions, and cured those that were ill. He claimed to have acquired his special gift after being visited by a winged woman while reading the bible in the forest. Despite his great powers, he wasn’t able to predict or heal one of the most important people in his life.
