On today’s show Gina has a chat with English Teacher, Snowboard Instructor and Photographer Lara Parsons about her seasons working in New Zealand and Canada before heading back to Europe to walk the Camino de Santiago trail.
Lara shares her knowledge on teaching English as a foreign language, as well as how she went from an amateur snowboarder to a qualified instructor completing her CASI training across Andorra and Austria.
In 2019 whilst spending the winter season in Austria, Lara was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. In this episode Lara talks us through this terrifying experience and how being in the right place at the right time saved her life.
