Opiate Addiction and the Island We're Becoming: INORML Part-3
Manage episode 311752065 series 3179188
Hey everyone, welcome back to the show. Today is part-3 of the series with the Indiana chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. This episode is a little different in that Jason Straw (INORML Vice-Chair) and Jack Cain (former Vice-Chair) spend the hour interviewing me about my work in Paramedicine and the subsequent study I published on opiate overdoses in St. Joseph County, Indiana. With a smaller group than the previous two sessions, Jack, Jason, and I have a more intimate discussion about opiate addiction and marijuana reform. It's a great dove-tail to the conversation you have been listening to over the past two weeks and a great way to close the chapter on this interview series. Jason, Jack, and the rest of the INORML team were wonderful to hang out with and Jack was such a hospitable host, inviting us all to his Indianapolis home to record the interviews.
In the intro today, I discuss my current Qigong practice and how it's given me some balance in an otherwise hectic life. There's also some discussion as to the wrapping up of the second season and what's to come in the months ahead.
Lastly, make sure you stick around until the end for a fun outro I know you'll enjoy! ;)
