In this week’s episode, Gwen coaches Melissa who has the intention to work through the challenges she has with a narcissistic sister, process the grief and loss of not being able to have the type of relationship she wishes she could have, and have a healthy balance of building trust with new people in her life. Because she has felt so much pain from the way her sister has treated her, Melissa observes a pattern of keeping people at a distance as a way of staying safe. Gwen brings Melissa back to the wisdom that her body has to share with her - both the pain, loneliness, scared little girl, as well as the emotional lump in her throat that has been protecting her. Throughout the episode Melissa moves from loneliness to connection, scared to sacred, and protecting to safety. In the end, Melissa is able to feel the shift, replace the void with a resource of joyous light that is always available. In this episode we discussed: • Narcissism from an energetic perspective • How to stay safe in toxic relationships with family • The impact that our childhood experiences have on us • Practical tools for healing and protection in relationships • Using light, nature and its elements as support • The importance of emotional and energetic healing • How to use the grief and sadness we feel when relationships change • How to heal when we feel a hole in our heart or void If you found this episode helpful, please share on Instagram and tag Gwen @gwendittmar and leave a rating and review - each one counts!
