Are you an emotional person? Feelings are meant to be felt. Emotions are healthy + vulnerability is powerful! They are God-given, so they are GOOD. But seeing all emotions are good can be challenging, especially feelings like sadness or anger. Do you see your emotions as good or bad?
In the first episode of this season, Candace + Jennie are laying the foundation for emotional health. They talk about how emotions connect us to God and others, why feeling hard or deep emotions points back to something that may be unaddressed beneath the surface, and the 3 C’s of emotional response: Control, Cope, Conceal.
