Welcome to Season 2 of The Cheer Up Luv Podcast, hosted by Eliza Hatch! In this week's episode I am speaking to the incredibly talented advocate, activist, speaker and campaigner Ben Hurst. Ben is also head of facilitation at Good Lad Initiative, works with Fearless Futures, is the Founding Director of SPACE for PSHE, is also the Co Founder of D/ecology, which facilitates conversations about decolonising shared spaces.
This week we talk about approaching the topic of toxic masculinity from a different angle, why the phrase "boys will be boys" is a get-out-of-jail-free card, and the importance of deconstructing gender roles. TW: In this Ep we discuss an experience of sexual harassment.
