In Exodus 2 we look at the miraculous story of the birth of Moses and we see the fingerprints of God all over it. However, if we only see Moses and miss the One whom Moses points to, we miss the story. Jesus is the ultimate Moses, the ultimate mediator, and the ultimate liberator – leading an exodus that will liberate from sin and death itself for all eternity.
