Episode 79: How to avoid getting stuck in anxiety and fear whilst healing

I recently received this question from a beautiful member of my self-love community:
“I’m trying to allow my feelings and help them to guide me, as I’m going through some deep healing at the moment. How do I do the work but not get lost in anxiety and fear? I've started therapy and I just can't switch my feelings off. I'm an empath (and then some!) and I'm hoping this healing phase will be transformational”
I realised that a lot of people could benefit from the answer, so I decided to turn my reply into a podcast episode.

You have FULL PERMISSION to take your foot off the gas and give yourself a set amount of time to FEEL your feelings, then get on with things that bring you joy and connect you to your heart chakra.
Yes, you need to feel all your feelings, but you don’t have to feel them all day every day. Set aside time to feel, process, journal, or meditate and also set aside time to do things that feel fun and enriching.
You can go through your healing journey with joy

There are 3 stages of growth –
1. Asleep
2. Awakening
3. Awake
During each stage, prioritise time to ground yourself. Know that you are moving forwards into your most enlivened and connected self. And it is SO WORTH IT.
