In today’s episode, we continue discussing the comic series The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones with Issue 9, The Gold Goddess: Xomec's Raiders. In this comic, Indy successfully discovers the Chachapoyan idol after a daring adventure in Marrakesh. In this direct sequel to Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indy reunites with Sallah, Marcus, and Marion in New York City to commemorate this exciting triumph. However, Indy comes face to face with Xomec, the leader of the Hovitos, who has returned to reclaim the sacred idol once and for all.
Opening music excerpt was composed by John Williams and is titled "The Snake Pit"
