Welcome back to the Injury Law Pod! We previously did a series on car accidents, covering all the various steps and parts involved in a claim. One of the big things we discussed was dash cams and this week, we want to go more in-depth to better prepare you. Having your own dash cam in your car is a great idea because it can be the difference between making a successful claim or not, especially if there are no witnesses to an accident. Dash cams provide independent evidence of how an accident occurred, showing who was at fault.

The other critical piece of evidence in car accident claims is black box data, officially known as electronic control module devices. Modern cars have these devices, which record various data points, such as speed and braking, leading up to and during an accident. This data is invaluable in determining factors like speeding or lack of attention from the driver at fault.

Both dashcams and black box data are essential tools in making a strong injury claim. If you haven't been in an accident yet, consider getting a dash cam for your vehicle. Remember, proactively preparing for potential accidents can significantly improve your ability to make a claim and seek justice for your injuries.
