Jann Arden, Caitlin Green, and Sarah Burke discuss societal expectations around body image in response to Season 3 of “Bridgerton and the relationship between Colin Bridgerton (played by Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington Nicola Coughlan.
They explore the double standards when it comes to body size in relationships, which of course leads them back to another discussion about Ozempic and the pressure to conform to narrow beauty standards.
The conversation then takes a humorous turn as they discuss a gossip story about Gwyneth Paltrow and a guest who allegedly had diarrhea at a party. From there, they touch on various topics including the fear of public shaming for bodily functions, the potential benefits of psychedelic drugs, the problems with air travel and the impact of tourism on popular destinations.
