In this episode of The Little Book Makers, our illustrators and renowned animators Chetan Sharma and Vaibhav Kumaresh talk about their processes of illustrating and animating, focussing on the difference between illustrating for children’s books and animation for children, their inspirations, and advice for up-and-comers in the field of art.
Chetan Sharma is Co-Founder and Director of the animation studio, Animagic. He’s illustrated many Karadi Tales books including The Monkey King (which he did when he was just 19!), The Lion's Feast, The Tallest Tale and Truth about the Tooth.
Vaibhav is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker and the Founder and Director of Vaibhav Studios. A graduate of the NID, he’s the Honorary Secretary of The Animation Society of India (TASI).
