EPISODE 20 “While Riv Steps Away, The Crew Shall Play with The Scale Model Car Podcast”

On this episode, we have some specials for you! (Take that as you may….)

We have Jeff Herne back, to talk about the successful Madison National show, and give us the skinny on his perspective on the show.

We also have a pair of fellow podcasters on, Lula Cee, AKA Matt, and Handsome Jason Hanscom from the Scale Model Car podcast are here to tell us about their show, and to join in on the topic of Peer awards vs. show awards. All those chips and coins we see…what would you prefer, or better yet, how they have changed or are changing the show landscape.
We didn’t have any New Kits in the News, but we do have our usual social media shout outs.

Check this one out….Riv Says it might be our best one yet!

Social Media Shoutouts:

Riv loves The bust that earned one of our chips at the Manawatu Scale model Expo by Gavin Dodd

Bad Santa gave his shout out to Mike Fuller’s son’s B-25 J

Tuch liked Eric F. Gamallia’s Atlantis Mack Bulldog backdated to make a 1918 Mack

Adams’ pick was Chad Truss’ Cell Shaded Nissan Silvia, as seen at IPMS Nats and on the cover of Finescale Modeler

Frankie D shouted out Michael P. Hill’s vacu-formed collection!

Luka Cee gave his guest shout out to Mark Bollan Dean and his 69 Camaro Pro-Mod. You can find that one on his group, the Luka Cee’s Model Car Headquarters group

Handsome Jason Hanscom also picked one from Luka Cee’s group, but chose Paul Mattox and his kid’s’ 48 hour group build entries. All three build some pretty impressive cars!

Jeff Herne really liked Bauble Young’s IPMS Nats Best in Show Winner-his fully scratch built Foundation FTL ship!

Don’t forget that you can go to MODELPODCASTS.COM to “browse through a list of current podcasts…”

And you can reach us at Modelinginsanitypodcast@gmail.com
