Manage episode 313143606 series 3115156
Day 288 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE. there's a prophecy about mourning in Ramah, a reference to the sorrow Rachel felt for her lost descendants. Then, we see God's enduring love for Israel, promising to rebuild and bless them. God even talks about the "new covenant" again, emphasizing how He'll write His law on their hearts. Meanwhile, Jeremiah buys a field during the siege of Jerusalem, a symbolic act of hope for the future return to the land. Paul asks for prayers for protection and for the spread of the Gospel. He warns the church about being lazy, saying everyone should work and not rely too much on others. He also tells the church to watch out for those who aren't behaving right and to set them straight in a loving way.
