We have footage of the Steelers QBs working at practice and it appears that, yet again, Russell Wilson is not doing very much at all. Justin Fields taking first team reps and Kyle Allen looks like the backup today. What could the Steelers be doing with Wilson and will he get another shot with this team once healthy? Poni thinks flag football could be the way the sport is played by the time he’s dead. The PIAA has made girls flag football a varsity sport. We took some calls on the Steelers QB play. Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. The guys asked Mike if Russell Wilson steps right in once healthy or if he has to wait for Justin Fields to screw up. Mike doesn’t think they should pull the plug on Fields unless things really look like they crater – and it could come later in the year than we think. If Wilson has to keep waiting on playing a prominent role, could the Steelers explore a trade? Will Wilson happily wait his turn? Mike thinks the Steelers should stick with Fields as long as they keep winning.
