3:05pm- On Wednesday, George Clooney wrote a scathing opinion piece urging Joe Biden to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race—citing Biden’s poor debate performance and an uninspiring performance at a New York City fundraiser hosted by Clooney earlier this year. According to a news report from Politico, Clooney presented the editorial to former President Barack Obama before its publication in The New York Times. Though Obama did not endorse the editorial’s message, he also did not object to its publication.

3:15pm- NBC News is reporting that the Biden campaign’s July fundraising totals are likely to be half of what they were in previous months—with one insider calling the numbers “disastrous.” Similarly, Politico notes that Democrats expect fundraising to crater.

3:20pm- On Thursday night President Joe Biden is scheduled to take part in what the White House is referring to as a “big boy” press conference. Does his candidacy depend on a strong performance?

4:05pm- David Urban—Political Commentator for CNN & Senior Advisor to Donald Trump—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to preview the 2024 election, paying special attention to the race between sitting U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) and Republican nominee Dave McCormick. According to new polling data, McCormick has cut into Casey’s lead considerably and now trails by only 1%. Polls from earlier this year showed Casey leading by 4 to 10 points. Plus, if Joe Biden withdraws from the presidential race—making Kamala Harris the Democrat party’s nominee—could Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro become a contender for Vice President? Urban argues that Shapiro would be wise to avoid the train wreck.

Netburn had previously endorsed moving a biological male sex offender to a women’s prison.
