In these next episodes we are going to talk about being a conversational Christian from the perspective of using both an apologetic approach in structuring our conversations and how to respond effectively when we engage with non-believers.
Apologetics is not apologizing for our faith but developing tools and methods of discussions to help better present the clarity and accuracy of our faith.
After we discuss the role of Apologetics in our conversation with others, we will in upcoming episodes discuss the concept of evangelism and how it differs from Apologetics, yet goes hand in glove together in the way we talk and engage with others about our faith when we are asked and given the opportunity to share our faith with them.
Where evangelism focuses on the proclamation of the gospel and it's good news, lived and proclaimed, Apologetics is a foundational defense of the christian faith that helps to explain and clarify the gospel message proclaimed through evangelism. So you can see how these two aspects are different but compliment each other so perfectly.
