This is a discussion about Peter Lynch with Matt Cochrane.

Matt is a DIY investor with a focus on moats.

Peter Lynch is one of the best investors of all time. Lynch achieved a 29% return running Fidelity’s Magellan mutual fund from 1977 to 1990. US stocks returned 12.9% over this period.

Both of us recently re-read Beating the Street, Lynch’s account of his time at Magellan and we reflect on the lessons from this book.
