Sammy's favorite teacher from highschool, Ms. Erika Wootton, has graced The Shanon Show from Bahrain. We discuss the importance of DODEA teachers forming deeper connections with their students and supporting them in their extracirrcular endeavors. Ms. Wootton shares a hilarious story from her first DODEA teacing experience in Seoul, her side of the famed "Salsa Day" from Sammy's Spanish class, and how Dr. Mowen's arrival changed her teaching career. She also sheds a light on her recent transition to Bahrain and how teachers are looking to fill the social and academic setbacks caused by the pandemic. All of that, and much more, in a jam-packed, 98th edition of The Shanon Show Podcast.
