This week, the crew is back with another conversation that pokes the norm in today's society as we discuss what it means to bask in our femininity and masculinity. But Danny starts the episode hyped with Kendrick Lamar's hit diss track "Not Like Us" fresh off the historic Juneteenth Pop Out concert in LA. We discuss the aftermath of the beef with Drake and what that means for Hip-Hop in the future. Then Naomie narrates her debacle with Danny during the week! Yes, guys, WE HAD A FIGHT!
Then we moved on to the random question of the week where Danny poses the question on ladies who believe sex is a gift to their man on his birthday as opposed to buying him an actual gift. This sparked a whole debate! On Nana's Corner, we discussed the biggest stories making the round in Pop Culture this week ranging from Remy Ma's son being charged with murder, to Fat Joe comparing Chris Brown to Michael Jackson, the sad passing of the legendary Donald Sutherland + MORE.
On the main section (Min 1:07:05) of the show this week, we discuss embracing the core qualities of our masculinity and femininity as we get older. We define the concepts of masculinity and femininity and how each respective qualities appeal to us and the opposite sex. We highlight what we both value in men and women as well as each other, then call out the double standards in how femininity and masculinity are perceived in society, personal stories on when we leveraged our core qualities to attract a romantic interest + MORE.
