There are plenty of dos and don’ts when it comes to going out in New York City. Part of that comes down to what you’re wearing. Doormen and bouncers are constantly trying to cultivate the right vibe inside the club, and to do so, they’re going to judge you based on appearance. In the headlines on #TheUpdate this Tuesday, the men formerly known as the Central Park Five before they were exonerated filed a defamation lawsuit against Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. A Bronx man is accused of raping a 13-year-old boy in the stairwell of a public housing building after the pair met online, prosecutors said. And in Decision 2024, with two weeks to go until Election Day, Both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump see economic policy as their best chance to win Latino voters. But their approaches are very different. In an interview with Telemundo, Vice President Harris plans to highlight how her agenda would create more opportunities for Latino men — a strategy born out of roughly a dozen focus groups and polling. Former President Trump, the Republican nominee, is making his own outreach to Latinos by holding a roundtable with them in Doral, a Miami suburb. Meanwhile, In-person early voting kicks off across battleground Wisconsin, with former President Barack Obama and Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Walz hosting a rally in liberal Madison and Republicans holding events to encourage casting a ballot for Donald Trump before Election Day.
