Kea who was born and bred in the South of Johannesburg speaks about how their heritage can always be found in their photography.
Kea started their photography journey in 2018, the following year they joined the Market Photo Workshop. Their current style is portrait photography, where they use their family and friends as their collaborators. With their mom as their biggest fan, who also offers honest critique, Kea speaks on how their relationship influences the work they put out. Through this, they offer us a lens to see their community through the softness of their appreciation.
