社會強化 (Social Reinforcement) 所指的是正向的回饋，會強化一個人的行為動機。這跟同志圈有什麼關係？當我們試圖融入團體、試圖在團體中找到自己的價值時，作自己反而不一定能得到正向回饋，跟大家一樣才比較容易獲得肯定。而被接受、被肯定、被需要，強化了我們放棄自我特質的驅力，多元就此淪為口號。
