On today’s podcast we have Jessie Cole. Jessie is a notable writer having written an acclaimed memoir, ‘Staying’ on surviving the suicide of her loved ones and how she came to heal, and her more recent book, ‘Desire: A Reckoning’ based on a the thrilling exploration of the very nature of desire.

What I love about this conversation is Jessie’s vulnerability, strength and commitment to self-expression. Experiencing a somewhat numbing of the body and silence of the mind, Jessie has found her power through writing and speaking on the topics that culturally we tend to steer clear of. In this conversation we explore desire, the relationship between love and attachment, and the process of coming to feel safe in your own body. We also speak to the silence around suicide and the consequential grief that those close to them experience, and how others courage through fear can help the healing of those left in pain.

Please enjoy this conversation with Jessie.
