The inaugural episode you are about to hear is about the disappearance of Maura Murray. This is, without a doubt, the case which I have investigated and researched more than any other, hundreds of hours to say the least, and still counting. I have travelled to the site of her disappearance, talked with and interviewed several of the “players” in the case, I have met the Murray Family (Fred, Julie and Kurt), and developed friendships with some of the researchers and investigators that have been on the case since day one.
With that being said, it is important to note that it would be impossible to attempt to cover this case in just one episode. This will be absolutely be multi episode series here on True Crime Monkey. This first episode is geared more toward those who may have never heard of the case, or are not extremely familiar with it. But for those veterans of the case, rest assured, we will be delving into the more detailed aspects and theories of the case in the podcast series. I have never seen as case with so many rabbit holes and plausible theories as this case has. So with that being said, let’s take a look at the case of the “Disappearance of Maura Murray”.
