In today’s episode, Diego elaborates on the numerous times he has“came-out” and his overall resistance towards the social conventions around queerness in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec. Diego also pieces together for us how he has transformed from a troubled queer youth in Oaxaca City into a confident young man. Overall, Diego’s journey has brought him to a feeling of liberation, where he has learned to put his own life first, and has found love and support from his family.
