Having transitioned from Lutheranism to Eastern Orthodoxy, Saler explores the intersection of American Eastern Orthodoxy, anti-modernism, and online religious subcultures. He is also a fellow at Indiana University/Purdue University, focusing on the impact of internet culture on Orthodox parish ministry.
