Good morning, Washington DC! Bundle up because winter has definitely arrived with a chilly forecast that'll make you want to stay cozy.
Tonight, we're looking at a partly cloudy sky with temperatures dipping down to a brisk 9 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect a northwest wind around 6 miles per hour, so grab that extra layer!
Wednesday brings us a sunny day, but don't let that sunshine fool you - it's going to be cold. We'll see a high near 21 degrees Fahrenheit with a northwest wind between 5 to 7 miles per hour, which will calm down in the afternoon.
Wednesday night continues the trend with partly cloudy skies and a low around 11 degrees Fahrenheit. The wind will take a break and go calm.
Thursday warms up just a touch with mostly sunny skies and a high near 34 degrees Fahrenheit. A light southwest wind around 5 miles per hour will make things feel slightly more bearable.
As we move into Thursday night, expect mostly clear skies with temperatures dropping to around 17 degrees Fahrenheit.
Friday looks sunny with a high near 33 degrees Fahrenheit, and Friday night will be mostly clear with temperatures falling to about 13 degrees Fahrenheit.
Saturday brings another sunny day with temperatures climbing to a mild 37 degrees Fahrenheit, followed by a mostly cloudy night with temperatures around 25 degrees Fahrenheit.
Sunday continues the cloudy trend with a high near 44 degrees Fahrenheit, and Sunday night staying mostly cloudy with a low around 26 degrees Fahrenheit.
Looking ahead to Monday, we'll see a partly sunny day with a high near 44 degrees Fahrenheit, and Monday night remaining mostly clear with temperatures around 26 degrees Fahrenheit.
Tuesday rounds out our forecast with mostly sunny skies and a high near 45 degrees Fahrenheit.
