Good morning, Washington DC! This is your weather forecast for Friday, bringing you all the wet and wild details you need to know.
Overnight, we're looking at a rainy situation with cloudy skies and temperatures dipping down to a mild 43 degrees Farenheit. Expect a light south wind and about a 60 percent chance of precipitation.
Friday is going to be a full-on rain day, folks! Temperatures will climb to near 53 degrees Farenheit with south winds between 6 to 11 miles per hour. We might even see some patchy fog between noon and 2 pm. Rainfall could be substantial, with amounts between half and three-quarters of an inch expected.
Friday night continues the wet trend, with rain likely before 10 pm and temperatures dropping to around 41 degrees Farenheit. Winds will shift from southwest to west after midnight.
Saturday brings some relief with gradual clearing and a high near 47 degrees Farenheit. Expect north winds with gusts up to 28 miles per hour. Saturday night cools down significantly to around 27 degrees Farenheit.
The weekend looks mostly cloudy with temperatures hovering in the low 40s. Monday brings a pleasant surprise with partly sunny skies and temperatures climbing to a comfortable 61 degrees Farenheit.
Looking ahead, Tuesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 53 degrees Farenheit, and Wednesday and Thursday have a chance of rain with temperatures ranging from the low 50s to mid 60s.
