Wildlife Veterinarian, Sharon Mulindi joins us from her mobile vet unit position in Northern Kenya. The mobile Vet units tackles some pretty import conservation concerns to assist the regional KWS vet in interventions which include treatments, rescues, disease surveillance and collaring. The mobile vet unit is sponsored by Save The Elephants, Ewaso Lions and Grey's Zebra Trust in collaboration with the Kenya Wildlife Service. Enjoy our episode with Sharon and hear about some of the wildlife she comes face to face with, how Africa's first community owned and run elephant sanctuary works, and a peek into the important research work being done in conservation.
