In this week’s first interview we’re diving into the critical and ongoing situation in Gaza, discussing the recent ICJ ruling and its implications with Diana Sarosi from Oxfam Canada’s. Diana shares Oxfam’s stance, their global call to action, and Canada's role in this complex geopolitical landscape.

Anne Brodie and I will discuss some powerful entertainment choices this week, including the movie 'Ru,' based on the Canadian Reads 2015 book, the CBC series 'Allegiance' set in Surrey B.C., and 'Three Little Birds,' a new series by Sir Lenny Henry on BritBox, exploring the journey of Jamaican immigrants to Britain in the 1950s.

Next we look at the often misunderstood issue of eating disorders, exploring the complexities, societal pressures, and steps towards healing and understanding with Shaleen Jones from Body Peace Canada.

Moving on I’m joined by Jenn Hayward, a Métis woman, comedian, and consultant, who is helping non-indigenous and indigenous people with reconciliation. In today's society, where we often find ourselves calling people out rather than calling them Jenn is opening dialogue and sharing lessons.

Then we take a look at Angela Langlois’s novel 'What The Three Of Them Knew,' set in Toronto, which delves into themes of friendship, family, and the complexities of fertility, resonating with many Canadians.

Finally I’m joined by the dynamic Chris McMartin who joins me to discuss the resilience and adaptability required by small businesses in the post-pandemic world, especially for women entrepreneurs. We discuss strategies for sustaining and growing businesses in today's uncertain times.
