In this episode we delve into the sinister world of Black Widow killers, examining the notorious cases of Nannie Doss and Melissa Ann Shepard. These women, seemingly ordinary on the surface, harbored dark secrets that would shatter the lives of those around them. Journey starts this episode off by giving us a brief description of what a Black Widow killer is, what their motivations are, some MOs, and discrepancies between what we thought a Black Widow killer was.

Then we move on to discussing Nannie Doss, a seemingly sweet and harmless grandmother who, in reality, was one of the most prolific serial killers in American history. Known as the "Giggling Granny," Doss managed to evade suspicion for years as she left a trail of poisoned husbands, children, and relatives in her wake. The episode explores the twisted motives behind her crimes and the shocking details of her deadly exploits.

Lastly, we turn our attention to Melissa Ann Shepard, infamously dubbed the "Internet Black Widow." This modern-day femme fatale used her charm and cunning to target vulnerable older men, manipulating them for financial gain and ultimately leaving a trail of death and destruction. The episode investigates the methods she employed to ensnare her victims and the cunning maneuvers that allowed her to continue her deadly spree. And did we mention that she's Canadian?

Brace yourself for a spine-chilling journey into the hearts of these deadly women, exploring the depths of their depravity and the shattered lives left in their wake. We leave you with the questions: How would you define a Black Widow killer? And are there such things as male Black Widows?
